We present you with Mr. Rruzhdi Hymetllari, participant in the #shkendija program. He is a Lawyer and Environmental Specialist from Pogradec, while in the civil society sector he leads the “Pylli i Blertë” Association. In the #shkendija Program comes an important initiative for his fellow citizens that has to do with community participation in the management of chestnut forests in Pogradec Municipality.
Among the activities that Rruzhdiu plans to implement, several advocacy processes are foreseen as a dialogue with representatives of institutions at the local and central level.
The #shkendija program comes within the project “Sparking Activism Initiatives Locally – SAIL III”, implemented by Co-PLAN, Institute for Habitat Development with the financial support of the Office of Public Relations at the Embassy of the United States of America in Tirana as part of the “Civil Society Capacity Building” program.
