The EKUILIBRIUM Center, established in 2023, is dedicated to advocating for the rights of children and young people, particularly those with developmental challenges. The center focuses on protecting these individuals from violence, abuse, and exploitation while promoting their increased participation at both local and national levels. This is achieved through lobbying and advocacy, enhancing policies and legislation, capacity building, information dissemination, research, and the development of effective care models. In response to the gap in programs for the successful integration of young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder into the labor market, the center has launched an initiative aimed at offering professional training and employment opportunities for these individuals in Tirana.
